We are currently focussed on building a network of pilot partners across councils, consultancies, iwi groups, and applicants. This is an opportunity to work with us now to shape how Shoal fits real consent workflows, with close collaboration and a rapid iteration cycle so outputs stay useful in your context.

Shoal sits on a continuous R&D pipeline and associated funding, national consent data, AI grounded in RMA practice, spatial analysis, and research we contribute to through science programmes and major AI for consent projects across Aotearoa.

Pilot partners tap into that pipeline directly: you get capability that would be costly and risky to replicate in house, without standing up your own AI and data team. As we improve the platform, you benefit from what we learn nationally, tailored to how your organisation works.
