Shoal provides resource consent intelligence tools for Aotearoa New Zealand. This policy explains how we handle personal information when you visit our website or contact us.

When you use our contact form, we collect:

- Your organisation (if provided)
- Your role or audience type
- The message you send us
When you use the Shoal application, we also process account and project data necessary to provide the service. That data is stored securely and access is restricted to authenticated users.
How we use it
We use contact form information to respond to your enquiry. We do not sell personal information.
Application data is used to deliver analysis features, maintain your projects, and improve the service.
How we store and share it
Contact messages are sent by email to our team via Resend. Application data is hosted on Supabase and related cloud infrastructure. We only share information with service providers who help us operate Shoal, or when required by law.
Your rights
Under the Privacy Act 2020, you may request access to or correction of your personal information. Please use our contact page to make a request.
